Not biblical revelations. Bathroom revelations. I noticed the oddest thing while finishing up at the urinal yesterday and it prompted me to try and make a change.
As I zipped up my slacks and hooked the two clasps closed at the top, I noticed something shiny on the cloth over the right clasp on my slacks. What could that be? I looked closer. It appears that a hole had worn through the fabric and the clasp beneath is visible. But why there of all places?
So I inspect the area closer and I see that there is a lot of tension on those two clasps and the right one is pushing against the fabric pretty hard. I find this rather odd. I mean I bought these slacks about 2 years ago and they were fine. Did they shrink over time? No, it’s been too long for them to shrink that much now. Are they tighter because I now wear an undershirt? Not really, I’ve been wearing one for as long as I’ve had the slacks. And then it hits me…
OH MY GOD…I’m getting a GUT!!! Ok, this has got to change!
