Honda CRV

Problem: There is a moaning or grinding sound when making turns. I heard mine mostly when I went to pull into a parking spot. I first read about this issue on Edmunds.

Solution: This is covered under Technical Service Bulletin 07-024. You can find a list of all the service bulletins for Honda CRV’s here. It takes about an hour to do and is covered under the drive train warranty.

My problem with my CRV was taken care of with almost no hassle once I got to the dealership. The biggest thing to be aware of with this issue is that there is a service bulletin out from Honda and it should be taken care of under warranty (as my issue was). The dealer may not mention the service bulletin when you first go in but if you are prepared ahead of time they will cover it.
